The FAFSA is available on October 1, 2019 for you to fill out for the 2020-2021 school year. The earlier you fill it out the better your chances of receiving financial aid there is. Financial aid can come in the form of Grants (don't have to pay back), Loans (you will pay back w/ interest), and Work Study (a job on campus). Some scholarships do require you to include your FAFSA eligibility information.
Create a FSA id by going to this link. Be sure to use a personal email - NOT your school one!!!
Then you'll go to the FAFSA website to fill in your financial information about you and your parents/guardians. You may do this as early as October 1, 2019 for the 2020-2021 school year. You will use your 2018 tax information.
